Outback Staff is an Australia-wide rural employment agency; they have jobs for farmers, tractor drivers, cotton workers, cooks and seasonal staff; and provide on-going support and back-up during your time working in Australia. The experience of working within the primary industries overseas aims to broaden your knowledge of technology and work practices.

Farm Staff: numerous vacancies for personnel to operate farm machinery, drive tractors/harvesters, or work on irrigation schemes. Wages start at around £4-£5 per hour, applicants must have an agricultural background.

Cooks, Housekeepers, Nannies to work on outback farm stations. Wages between £120-£160 per week. Applicants should have experience with cooking housework and childcare.

All positions work 8-10 hours a day over a 5 or 7 day week. Farm workers are required all year, while cooks are needed between February and October. Minimum period of work two weeks. Board and lodging is usually included, but this depends on the location. Applicants should speak English.
